PM Mold is seeking a bright and motivated Material Handler for our Injection Molding division to help take our 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts Production department to the next level. Under the direction of our Shift Supervisor, this role will prepare materials, equipment and the press for production runs. This is a unique opportunity to directly impact our growing company on all shifts. The top candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining quality and safety standards. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare equipment and the press for the run. That includes cleaning grinders, dryers, hoppers and loaders.
• Pull materials from inventory per WO specification and filling necessary documentation
• Mix materials and concentrates per WO specification
• Set auto loaders to attain proper regrind ratio
• Remove finish goods from the press area to the warehouse
• Bring packaging materials to the press when required
• After job is completed move rough materials and finish goods to the warehouse and fill up necessary documentation

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Self-starter with ability to work independently
• Multi-tasker with effective prioritization skills
• Strong organization skills
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Extremely detailed-oriented with high degree of accuracy
• Basic math skills

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Minimum of 0-1 year of experience
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment (grinders, dryers, hoppers and loaders)
• Experience with material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack)
• Ability to improvise and adapt where needed

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Good mobility, energy level and ability to routinely lift 50 pounds
• Requires good visual acuity
• Must be willing and able to operate a forklift - we will train
• Able to climb ladders up to six feet
• Good mobility for high physical activity including but not limited to reaching, standing, stooping, squatting & crawling to access material storage areas
