Job Summary

Responsible for preparing and serving the daily complimentary breakfast bar, greeting each guest and ensuring guests are satisfied.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Set up and maintain the breakfast bar in an attractive, standardized and full-looking manner. Keep area organized and clean, and replenish depleted items
  • Take inventory of food and beverage and supplies needed for each day. Order or purchase food supplies.
  • Prepare various food items as needed.
  • Set up serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups and other paper products.
  • Clear and clean vacated tables.
  • Wash equipment and return it to storage. Return reusable food to storage.
  • Respond to all guest requests for additional breakfast items, hotel information, directions, and any other assistance.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Abilities Required

  • Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Ability to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry, or otherwise move or push goods on a cart weighing a maximum of 50 lbs., on a continuous schedule.

Every PM Hotel Group associate should adhere to the hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and effectively reporting safety hazards and safety concerns.
