This is a 3rd Shift position. 10 hours a day from Monday through Thursday. 8pm to 6am and if needed overtime on Fridays from 6pm to 2am.

Starts out at $18.04/hr with a $ .80 premium. That’s $18.84/hr to start!

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Process, transport, test, tag, inspect, pack, load, and off-load steel tooling, billet, and tube materials.
• Monitor, manipulate, and change various equipment and tooling.
• Perform light construction and preventative maintenance duties as assigned.
• Ensure the availability of supplies and tools necessary to safely perform all job functions.
• Communicate with management and peers regarding quality, preventative maintenance, customer focus, equipment issues, concerns, and improvement initiatives. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain clean and safe work, break, and locker areas.
• Wear all required safety equipment and participate in safety initiatives.
• Follow all applicable procedures, directions, and instructions.
• Ensure proper preventative maintenance related to all materials, processes, and equipment.
• Monitor machine operation to ensure billets feed properly and the machine operates safely.
• Maintain the production board and complete all other related paperwork in an accurate and neat manner.
• Arrange for material delivery to the line as required.
• Confirm that the correct material is loaded into the press.
• Follow set-up steps as described in production set-up information and procedures.
• Perform quality checks as per in-process check sheets.
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the press line and all personnel.
• Ensure proper tagging of finished parts and their transfer to the finished goods area.
• Lead the team to ensure changeovers are done efficiently with minimal downtime.
• Complete housekeeping duties in the assigned area or project area daily and/or as required.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Ability to read, interpret, and follow documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Exhibit sufficient communication skills and judgment to interact with a broad range of customers throughout the organization.
• Work ethically and with integrity to uphold the organizational values.
• Ability to manage paid time off and be ready for work at the start of each shift.
• Ability to work independently or in a team setting with guidance.
