Summary Of PositionThe Grounds Landscaper performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks and supply labor related to grounds and way maintenance, equipment and furniture moving, equipment operation, construction labor and other tasks as assigned by the Manager of Grounds. - Assisting manager with planning and coordinating vehicle and equipment maintenance, repairs, inspections, and seasonal tire changes.
- Assisting manager oversee/plan for projects either in house or sub-contractors.
- Being a point of contact when the manager isn’t available, answering questions, and making decisions under the manager’s authority.
- Assisting in hiring, training, and mentoring new employees.
- Three years of experience in grounds maintenance or a related field/area.
- Valid NH driver’s license
- DOT medical card
- Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform characteristic duties of the job including heavy lifting and exposure to inclement weather conditions for prolonged periods of time.
- Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
