JOB SUMMARY: The IT Director will manage and oversee the operations of Information Technology (IT) and information systems in alignment with the organizations strategy that meets the company’s business needs, delivers an optimal return on investment, and maintains utmost security.

· Collaborates with members of the leadership and various stakeholders to identify and strategize ways the Information Technology (IT) department can best support the organizations to achieve business and financial goals. Communicates with the executives, management, and key stakeholders on projects regarding pertinent IT activities.
· Forecasts, plans, and budgets for, the organization’s current and future technology; Ensures that technology forecasts include scalability and timely implementation.
· Provides operational and strategic leadership to the IT department and creates an environment of collaboration that will drive timely development, implementation, and support of IT systems inter-departmentally and across the organization.
· Develops, implements, and monitors IT systems policies and controls, information security, asset tracking control, and regulatory compliance.
· Develops, maintains, and oversees backup and disaster recovery/business continuity plans. Manages organization risks related to data storage and security.
· Centrally manages all hardware and software license agreements, communication agreements, and vendor contracts.
· Ensures that current IT and network infrastructure adequately support the company’s computing, data processing, and communications needs.
· Oversee BlueOrange annual compliance audit
· Participate in Compliance Committee.
· Communicates goals, projects, and timelines of the company to the department; plans ways to execute those goals within the department.
· Assists as top-level contact for end-users in determining information systems requirements and/or solutions.
· Ensures information technology systems are in compliance with all required government regulations and contractual obligations that apply.
· Establishes and maintains operational oversight of projects and assignments within the IT department. Will take the lead in execution where necessary. Will provide additional support as needed.
· Manages vendor support activities, maintenance agreements, and maintenance costs in areas of responsibility.
· Conducts system performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
· Comply with applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all Plymouth Place policies and procedures.
· Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field. Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field highly recommended.
· 10 years’ experience strategic planning and leadership
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
· Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and leadership experience in a healthcare organization.
· Experience in developing, implementing and maintaining Health Information Systems, Electronic Health Records (EHR systems or Electronic Medical Records systems.
· Knowledge of Senior Living Community (CCRC) compliance and requirements as it pertains to Information Technology.
· Demonstrated hands-on experience with network infrastructure, application and database systems, and end user hardware and software.
· Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, dependable and reliable.
· Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
· Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with residents and employees.
