In this position the individual will be responsible for assembly of custom electronic components for high reliability applications. This is a very exciting opportunity for the right individual. Requirements:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical/ optical/ electronics assemblies.

- This position requires steady hands for handling ultra- delicate optics. The applicant must have good eyesight and manual dexterity.

- The ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, operation instructions and assembly procedures is required.

- Set up machines to polish, bevel, edge, or grind optics, flats, blanks, or other precision optical elements.

-Perform visual and manual quality tests using functional and handheld test equipment

-Assist in meeting department production goals and work in a team environment.

- Able to work independently and within a team.

- Able to work closely with Engineering, Test and quality departments.

Hours are M-F 7:30-4:00
