ABOUT THE ROLE:

*This is an in-person/on site/on location role. Applicant must have reliable transportation around the Philadelphia area.

Plush Marketing Agency is seeking a talented, bubbly, friendly, professional and versatile CONTENT SHOOTER who can excel in both photography and videography roles, depending on the specific shoot requirements. It is highly desirable for the candidate to have their own equipment (quality camera and a smartphone model released in the year 2022 or newer) and possess in-depth knowledge of their gear to deliver top-notch results. The perfect candidate will be available and flexible primarily during weekdays (Monday to Friday from 9 am-6pm), and very occasional weekends, for a diverse range of shoots spanning various industries, including but not limited to: restaurants, bars, distilleries, bakeries, hospitals, legal offices, boutiques, malls, art galleries, real estate management companies, and realtors. You'll get experience in them all as we grow!

We have a wide array of packages and services for our clients. Some clients have monthly shoots or bimonthly shoots (2-3 hours) and some have half day (4-5 hours shoots).

The candidate should draw inspiration from their local community, the Philadelphia community as a whole, and the social media world. They should be equipped with a wealth of ideas, insights, and experiences to accomplish the job effectively, thinking on their feet, and have quick creative ideas when needed. Thinking on the spot and being quick with ideas while following client inspiration and PMA guidelines is imperative. This exceptional content creator will thrive both independently (leading a shoot as the sole shooter) and in collaboration with another shooter, as a team, as well as in a production assistant/ shooter assistant capacity to other shooters - all while representing Plush Marketing Agency in a professional, organized, punctual, friendly, and creative manner. They should demonstrate a high level of collaboration, responsiveness, and organizational skills in all aspects of their work. The candidate should be capable of efficiently uploading labeled and, if necessary (but not required), edited content within the given timeline. They should also be familiar with editing the content they shoot and have experience creating engaging, creative, fun and short <30 sec reels in Adobe Premiere Pro (preferred).

*While prior experience is preferred, we are open to training candidates who possess the right fit for the role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Play a creative planning in role in pre-production, whether that is meeting with the client and a PMA team member to strategize or reviewing in depth the planned shoot guide provided to you or coming up with quick ideas to add to a shoot while there and in person.
• Owning and being proficient in the use of your own equipment to achieve optimal results.
• Understanding various photo/video techniques and their suitability for different marketing mediums.
• Creatively driven and aware of photography and videography trends for social media purposes.
• Applying photographic techniques to produce desired effects and convey messages effectively.
• Utilizing lighting techniques to capture well-exposed imagery.
• Selecting appropriate camera settings and equipment on location to capture the desired images.
• Working creatively under tight deadlines.
• Building strong relationships and solid rapport with clients on behalf of Plush Marketing Agency.
• Maintaining open and effective communication with the PMA team, colleagues, and collaborators, and demonstrating adaptability and collaboration.
• Being punctual for shoots and accommodating various styles, preferences, and personalities.
• Editing content in a timely manner

QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS

• Creative marketing experience or a strong interest in producing, directing, filmmaking, photography, and videography.
• Ability to comprehend and bring to life the desired outcomes of projects discussed with the internal team or clients.
• Experience working with and coordinating groups of people, while maintaining an encouraging and positive attitude during one-on-one interviews.
• Friendly, punctual, and possessing a highly positive attitude and demeanor that attracts others. Regarded as an organized and encouraging individual.
• Ability to collaborate well with other creative professionals to supply clients with top-notch finalized products.
• Possess excellent writing and verbal communication skills to convey ideas clearly and professionally.

• Adaptable and willing to handle multiple projects simultaneously, switch between projects, and jump into projects as needed.
• Manage a high level of organization and attention to detail.
• Maintain strong time management skills to meet deadlines while being comfortable seeking assistance or guidance when faced with challenges or when additional support is required.
• Contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment with a friendly and positive attitude.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or GED certificate
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in photography videography
• Proficient in Dropbox Google Suite Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro and Photoshop strongly preferred)
• Experience working with a marketing team is a plus
• Intermediate to expert in Spanish language skills are a plus, but are not required
• Ability to work weekdays some weekends throughout the year
