Oversee the shipping and receiving activities for the company’s Plush and Custom warehouses. Conduct accurate and timely check-in of merchandise when it is received. Manage the packaging, labeling and shipping activities for plush and krewe orders

POSITION RESPONSIBLITIES

• Receive shipments into the warehouses
• Coordinate with the Administrative Office to obtain and utilize standard check-in documentation
• Oversee and conduct an accurate and timely check-in when merchandise is received
• Ensure that check-in documentation is turned in to the Administrative Office timely
• Complete re-counts and return them to the Administrative Office promptly
• Check-in merchandise received from FedEx, UPS and other small deliveries
• Maintain a daily log of all in-bound shipments
• Prepare customer shipments for pick-up by customers, freight carriers and USPS
• Verify that Delivery tickets are stamped paid
• Verify that delivery tickets agree with goods being delivered
• Package merchandise for shipment
• Weigh packages and prepare shipping labels
• Push sales orders through delivery to invoice daily
• Verify the quality, packaging and labeling of inventory received
• Ensure that labels and barcodes on cartons are correct
• Ensure that SKUs and barcodes are correct on product packaging
• Ensure same day transfer of inventory to the store
• Test and verify that inventory items scan correctly
• Verify tha price tags & barcodes are included with the product
• Complete plush inventory item counts as needed
• Ensure that the plush showroom is up to date
• Assist with checking in, storing and staging for delivery float loads and maintaining an accurate list of all float load orders
• Stage loading and unloading areas with appropriate equipment, materials and space
• Ensure that shipments are staged accurately and properly documented 1 week prior to the delivery date

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
