We are currently seeking a per-diem Resilience Trainer / Facilitator to join our on-site wellness team based in Jersey City, NJ.

Job Overview:

As a Resilience Trainer / Facilitator, you will focus on promoting and delivering wellbeing presentations and programs in the workplace. Your strengths lie in your ability to motivate and engage people in taking actions that support their mental and physical wellbeing, connect employees to appropriate resources, and lead with care. You will help the client enhance their [workplace] culture of inclusivity and wellbeing, deliver engaging sessions and provide proven resilience strategies to support employees to perform at their personal best both in and outside of the office.

What you will do:

• Deliver Mindfulness and [non-clinical] Resilience programs with [event planning,] instruction and corresponding reporting as needed.
• Ensures familiarity with integrated products, programs and services to better connect the employee population to their next best action.
• Liaises with the client’s [peer] network of employees to share feedback, provide ongoing resilience education, and potentially expand programming to other locations and departments.
• Responds to client suggestions, concerns, and/or complaints in a timely, professional, and consistent manner while providing the gold standard in customer service.

What we are looking for:

• Five or more years of experience providing education, facilitation, and/or individual and group support in a corporate setting (e.g., health promotion, health management, mindfulness).
• Effective and engaging public speaking skills; communicates professionally and appropriately with the client, stakeholders and program participants.
• Strong knowledge of proven mindfulness and positive psychology [coaching] strategies.
• Excellent multi-tasking, time management, problem-solving, collaboration and organizational skills; program development and delivery.
• Competence with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Valued but not required knowledge and experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, social work, counseling, public health, health promotion).
  • Training in workplace and organizational dynamics
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Mindfulness in the Workplace; Positive Psychology Coaching)
  • Related Health Promotion or Public Health certification such as: National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC) certification, WellCert Certified Wellness Practitioner, CHES (Certified Health Education Specialist)
  • Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) certification
  • Experience working with diverse talent; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives
