Description

Pliant is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to assist as we continue to build our team of world-class talent. As a Recruiting Coordinator at Pliant, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact, engaging with both our internal team as well as potential future employees. Our ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated, highly organized, and flexible in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be expected to effectively represent our culture and values, excellent communication skills are a must. We need a team player who can represent our culture and is eager to develop their recruiting skills.

Responsibilities

  • Be one of the first faces and names that candidates see. Make them feel welcome, excited, informed and taken care of. You will own the candidate interview scheduling from end to end, ensuring each candidate has a great and memorable experience.
  • You will contribute ideas to refine our processes and improve upon existing programs. Take on projects of impact to the candidate experience.
  • You will schedule candidate interviews within Pliant’s applicant tracking system, Greenhouse.
  • Assist with various recruiting process functions as needed such as, onboarding/offer letters, candidate dispositions.
  • Represent Pliant’s Recruiting organization to all partners, stakeholders, and candidates, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service and consistent, high-quality work.
  • Manage onsite interview logistics with an eye for details.
  • Be the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding interview scheduling and candidate tracking while building strong relationships.
  • Assist with candidate and hiring manager communications.
  • Communicate with candidate pre-interview to ensure they have relevant information to prepare for logistical details and expectations of the interview.
  • Facilitate candidate references, background checks and other pre-employment processes.
  • Assist with candidate sourcing for assigned open roles.
  • Keep current with sourcing strategies and industry needs.
  • Work within the ATS technology to ensure detail and accuracy for HR department metrics.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, abilities and prior experience required.

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Recruiting Coordinator or in a similar professional coordination role with an interest in recruiting.
  • Ability to prioritize different aspects of scheduling needs throughout the day.
  • Motivated, self-driven and creative.
  • Strong communicator and can provide concise and direct instructions, next steps, and expectations.
  • Persistent with no problems reaching out to gather what is needed to meet your deadlines.
  • Ability to work on complex scheduling requests and contrasting time zones.
  • Ability to set the standard at Pliant for positive candidate experience.
  • Willing to learn new tools, technologies, and skills.
  • Interest in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Able to set priorities and juggle multiple projects and demands.
  • Able to work independently while exercising initiative, flexibility, and sound judgment.
  • Ability to operate in alignment with Pliant’s values.
  • Other duties as assigned.
