This is a full-time role/on-site. The Mechanical Reliability Engineer will be responsible for conducting data analysis, failure analysis, reliability centered maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure high standards of mechanical reliability.
Duties:
Performs investigations to identify root causes
Optimizes preventative maintenance procedures, increasing overall productivity
Compiles data for maintenance compliance, including lubrication and vibration and present finding into concise reports for plant leaders
Restructures asset hierarchy to encompass all equipment and components, enhancing CMMS capabilities for identifying Bad Actors and pinpointing maintenance priorities
Collaborates to organize maintenance stores, enhance inventory management and streamline processes
Identifies and recommends the implementation of new equipment and tools such as oil storage containers and filter carts to enhance lubrication health and achieve a high return on investment
Spearheading the development of a lubrication program introducing procedures for proper sampling, optimizing lube routes and implementing cost effective practices
Supervise maintenance team ensuring efficient operations and PM completion
Qualifications:
Strong background in Reliability Engineering and related analytical skills
Experience in conducting Failure Analysis and Reliability Centered Maintenance
Troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Experience with CAD software, FMEA, CMMS, and/or Root Cause Analysis
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Additional experience in the manufacturing, automotive, or aerospace industries is a plus.
