Pleasantview Nursing Center is hiring a CERTIFIED MEDICATION ASSISTANT (CMA) to work both short term rehabilitation and long-term care.

Position Summary : Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the CMA administers prescribed drugs and completes other delegated nursing tasks allowed by state law.

He / she will function within the standards of practice as accorded by his / her certification. The CMA performs various patient care activities and related non-professional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort for patients.

Requirements :

• The Certified Medication Assistant must have successfully completed a State approved Certified Nursing Assistant Program as well as a state approved 60-hour certified medication program.
• Experience is preferred in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing.
