Looking for experienced Infection Preventionist / Nurse Educator to lead the Infection Control program at PRM and to direct the delivery of education to the nursing department. Leads the Infection Control Committee and Antibiotic Stewardship program ensuring compliance with CMS Regulations. Includes needs assessment, design, acquisition and delivery of educational interventions. Also assists/supports supervision of Nursing staff. Required: must have primary professional training in one of the following, nursing, epidemiology, microbiology, medical technology or a related field. Preferred 3 years’ experience in long term care/nursing facility; 2 years’ experience as a supervisor; 1 year as an educator/trainer. Must be certified in Infection Control or have qualifications to complete certification. Full-time, excellent benefits.
