Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Addiction Counselor to join our team. The Addiction Counselor will provide counseling services to individuals struggling with addiction, helping them on their journey to recovery.

Duties:

- Conduct assessments to determine clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address addiction issues
- Utilize psychotherapy techniques to assist clients in overcoming addiction
- Offer counseling services as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Maintain accurate medical documentation
- Implement behavioral health interventions to support clients' recovery
- Educate clients on addiction prevention strategies and coping mechanisms

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Certification must have LCADC licensure
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to addiction and mental health
- Experience in conducting individual and group counseling sessions
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient care and communication
- Knowledge of individual and group counseling techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
