Plaza Tire Service is hiring Order Pullers for its Cape Girardeau Distribution Center. Order Pullers play a key role in distributing items to our stores and customers. Attention to detail and the ability to lift 50 pounds is critical.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately pull order quantities and prepare merchandise for shipment to stores
• Follow established procedures that guide and support a highly organized process
• Repack and label any orders that require such handling when necessary
• Work quickly and efficiently
• Load orders into trucks for shipment

This position is normally a 5-day workweek. Alternating weeks of Monday-Friday and Monday-Thursday, plus Saturday. All Plaza Tire Service locations are closed on Sundays.

Qualifications:

Plaza Tire Service is willing to train the right people. The most successful candidates possess the following qualifications, which are expected of applicants.

• Ability to lift fifty (50 ) or more pounds
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to stand/walk a minimum of eight (8) hours
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment where temperatures vary with the seasons
• Operate power industrial trucks (PIT) such as a forklift or pallet driver
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items
• Go up and down stairs
