POSITION SUMMARY

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for expertise and resources needed to support the maintenance and grounds operation of Plaza Outdoors. The position will uphold maintenance, housekeeping, vendor coordination, customer deliveries and assistance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Serve as a leader to ensure facility is cleaned properly, projects are completed in a timely manner, maintenance schedule is executed effectively, and ensure customer satisfaction

· Survey facility and address repairs for safety and aesthetics

· Forklift/skid loader

· Manage repairs

· Customer deliveries

· Housekeeping

· All other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty independently and satisfactorily. Must be able to communicate effectively in both oral and written form and interface with all departments. Must maintain absolute confidentiality. Must be able to multi-task, be accurate, have good organizational skills and handle high levels of stress. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

· Experience in general contracting, and facility maintenance

· Driver’s license required

· Adaptability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

· Quick and eager learner of new tools, technology, products and processes

· Great time management, organization and problem solving skills

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Prolonged periods of standing, walking, stooping, sitting. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Periods of outside work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
