This project manager opportunity is for the design, sales, and management of projects in the Central/Western Virginia territory. This territory includes the areas in and around Fredericksburg, Stafford, Harrisonburg, Culpeper, Charlottesville, Roanoke, Lynchburg, Staunton, Lexington, Martinsville, Danville, and the SW Virginia counties. Responsibilities:

• Travel daily within sales territory to meet prospects and customers
• Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily
• Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers
• Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts
• Educate customers on how products and services can meet their needs and benefit them
• Sell the company’s products or services to customers within your given territory
• Manage sold projects in your given territory through completion
• Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs
• Work closely with marketing department to help build the brand
• Be a team player and work well with others
• Strong attention to detail
• Clear and professional written/verbal communication skills
• High level of initiative and personal accountability

Work Experience:

• 1 - 3 years of construction experience is desired but not required
• 3 years of outside B2B sales experience is desired
• Experience selling to Town/City/County Parks and Recreation Departments and/or Schools is desired
