Job Description:
As a Studio Assistant at Playdate by Pacific Poppy, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that each guest's experience is magical and memorable. There is only ONE employee staffed at a time during these hours. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Guest Services:

• Greet and check-in guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Handle payment transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Provide informative and engaging tours of the studio, highlighting available activities and workshops.

2. Studio Maintenance:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the studio space, ensuring a safe and inspiring environment for our young artists.
• Assist in cleaning up after art sessions, including tidying up art supplies and wiping down surfaces.
• Clean paintbrushes and other art tools to ensure they are ready for future use.

3. Guest Engagement:

• Interact with children and their families in a friendly and approachable manner, fostering a sense of joy and creativity.
• Encourage participation in art activities and provide assistance and encouragement when needed.
• Enhance guests' experiences by actively engaging with them and adding personal touches to make their visit memorable.

Qualifications:

• Passion for working with children and fostering their creativity and imagination.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with guests of all ages.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility for maintaining a clean and organized environment.
• Previous experience in customer service or childcare is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Must pass a background check.
