Description
Montessori Children's House (MCH) in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania is searching for Montessori Prep Teacher to join our team of dedicated Montessori educators. At Montessori Children's House - Blue Bell, our mission is to embody the educational principles of Dr. Maria Montessori in a close-knit, caring community of children, parents, teachers and staff. We strive to guide and support children to feel confident and competent in creating their own learning, and to provide support and resources for parents as they facilitate their children's growth.
The ideal Primary Teacher candidate will be able to:

• Orchestrate the development of a warm, peaceful and joyful environment in an authentic Montessori classroom community.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of and ability to communicate Montessori philosophy and methodology.
• Through Montessori methodology, facilitate and provide guidance for the children's development of the confidence and competence needed to approach learning with independence and self-direction.
• Contribute to the cohesiveness of the MCH community of faculty, staff, families and children.

Job Qualifications for Toddler Prep Teacher:

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education or other related field.
• Montessori Prep (Infant/Toddler) certification, preferably from AMS, AMI, or other MACTE accredited teacher education program. Or willing to obtain.
• At least 2 years previous experience in a Montessori early childhood environment preferred.
• Hours for this position are: M-F, 8:30-3:30 (additional hours available if interested)
