Job Description:

· Provide professional nursing care to patients in the clinic/outpatient setting in compliance with professional practice standards.

· Promote a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families and all members of the care delivery team.

· Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs. This includes assessing a patient's condition, triaging patient phone calls, counseling patients, providing patient education, taking patient histories, performing screenings, and administration of vaccinations and medications.

· Document patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.

· Ensure professional effectiveness through education and professional development.

· Participate in the development of and maintain established policies, procedures and objectives; quality improvement; safety; environmental and infection prevention programs.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements:

· Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

· One year of experience as a registered nurse is preferred.

· Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient’s needs.

· Current Utah Registered Nurse licensure

· Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast paced work environment.

· Strong critical thinking skills and ability to problem solve independently.

· Able to lift/move up to 20 lbs. without assistance and lift/move weights

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,439.49 - $65,540.03 per year
