A minimum of 10 years of Powertrain Manufacturing or Engineering experience • A minimum of 5 years Powertrain Quality experience • Thorough understanding of Engines & Driveline components • Thorough understanding of FCA Quality and Supplier Operations• Thorough understanding of structured problem solving and root cause analysis• Ability to stand and be on your feet long periods of time in a manufacturing environment Preferred Requirements:• Black Belt or Green Belt certification• Experience launching engine programs• Manufacturing, design release, and or supplier quality experience are strongly desired• Knowledge of engines, transmissions, and driveline components strongly desired• Experience working in a lean/flat organization with cross functional skills • Work with internal teams to develop and implement integrated content required to drive growth and maximize customer value• Provide creative thinking to the analysis of data and the identification of new opportunities • Ability to lead without direct authority• Strong communication skills. • Ability to build partnerships both internally and externally • Capable of planning and prioritizing including the ability to manage multiple projects, determine project urgency and create action plans• Experience and ability to follow ISO/TS16949 and APQP processes to launch and monitor engine manufacturing.• The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of developing and executing standardization, especially within the area of Powertrain. • The successful candidate must possess outstanding teamwork, interpersonal and communications skills. • The candidate must be a high-energy, hands-on individual with strength of convictions and leadership presence.• This person is by nature a risk-taker and has a high level of ambition.
