Role :- MES Support Engineer

Location :- Normal IL

Duration :- Fulltime

JD for Shopfloor MES Support

• Individuals must have 2 years of experience with Manufacturing IT Systems
• Understanding of Manufacturing process flow and dependencies
• Must have knowledge of ticket management system like Jira.
• Primary knowledge of PLC communication / SCADA
• Experience / Basic knowledge of Ignition platform is an added advantage.
• Experience / knowledge of Rockwell platform including FTPC, Kepware, FT Linx, etc. is an added advantage.
• Shop floor MES devices installation and configuration like Barcode scanners, Barcode printers etc.
• Troubleshooting skills: Example PLC - MES communication issues.
• Knowledge of the OSI model - model describes seven layers that computer systems use to communicate over a network.
• Knowledge of SQL, Active Directory, PLC Live Data Tags, Log Monitoring, Basic scripting, and execution
• Application deployment model: Basic knowledge of containers, Kubernetes Docker or other similar technologies is an added advantage.

Soft Skills

• Must be able to work in rotating shifts schedules.
• Must be willing to transfer / work on-site.
• Experience resolving simple to moderately complex issues through root cause analysis.
