The Director of Career Services is responsible for ensuring the Career Services Office operates in accordance with Platt College education policies and procedures. The Director of Career Services will work closely with other school personnel to implement a program of activities and services that facilitate the placement of graduates and promote the goals of the college.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must have demonstrable management and organizational skills
• Computer knowledge required
• Individual must possess strong oral and written communication proficiency
• Position requires exceptional social interaction skills
• Consistently display the highest levels of integrity
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, perform well under pressure, meet deadlines, and work a flexible schedule

• Associate degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Two to four years’ experience managing career services teams in proprietary education OR comparable management experience required
• Familiarity with the job market is preferred
• Previous experience in career counseling, marketing, workshop planning or administration is preferred
