The Academic Supervisor - Distance Education is responsible for working closely with the campus academic dean and program directors in overseeing day-to-day academic operations, achieving quality outcomes, and assuring growth and development of all distance education programs.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Management and supervisory skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Problem-solving capabilities

Credentials and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree Required, Master’s Degree Preferred
• 3 to 5 years of prior management experience in a distance education environment and/or acceptable industry-related experience required

Special Requirements:

• Flexible hours to include evenings, weekends and/or holidays
• Required to attend the Platt College Graduation Ceremony as requested
