Job Summary:

As a Primary Care Physician, you play a pivotal role in delivering medical services to our community health center patients. In addition, you may be assigned duties by the Chief Clinical Services Officer in alignment with funding agency requirements, contractual agreements, and policies and protocols.

Job Duties:

1. Ensure the quality of care for all patients.

2. Adhere to the highest standards of medical practice, ethics, and professionalism.

3. Collaborate with the Chief Clinical Services Officer to establish medical policies and quality improvement procedures.

4. Recommend changes to enhance patient flow, medical records, billing practices, and appointment procedures.

5. Assist in designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for patients and clinical staff.

6. Direct and supervise clinical staff as needed.

7. Maintain affiliations with professional groups and represent company in relevant associations and organizations.

8. Fulfill duties required by funding agencies and Company management.

Additional Duties:

1. HIPAA Compliance: Stay informed and comply with all HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality of member information.

2. Compliance: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.

3. QA/QI: Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities for overall organizational performance improvement.

4. Electronic Health Record: Learn and use the Electronic Health Record and Practice Electronic System, including NextGen, PMS, QSI, and other applicable features.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

1. Graduate from an accredited medical school.

2. Possess a valid California Medical License.

3. Professional clinical experience in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, etc.

4. Board certification or eligibility highly desirable.

5. Interest in designing and evaluating efficient healthcare systems in a community health center setting.

6. Authoritative knowledge of practice principles and general management, especially in personnel management for a community health center.

7. Promote and believe in the mission statement of the Company.

8. Ability to relate to the public regardless of ethnicity, religion, or economic status.
