Platinum Dermatology Partners is seeking a Clinical Trainer for our clinics in Arizona.

This position will require traveling to other clinics within the Arizona region and sometimes in other states.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

• Training and educating medical assistants on being a proficient EMA users.
• Assist with 30, 60, and 90-day performance reviews and success of training results. Sign each new employee off.
• MIPS training for all back-office staff.
• Efficient with training the staff on tasking in EMA.
• Portal training.
• E-Rx.
• Setting up rooms each morning.
• Preparing room and training on biopsy procedures.
• Accutane training.
• Documentation and completing Path Logs
• Sending in Lab requests
• Proper setup and closing of the lab.
• Proper cleaning of instrument.
• CLIA. Knowledge of the Portal.
• Proper cleaning of rooms.
• Training NextGen scheduling.
• Work on Protocols and training materials.
• Orientation class for our new MA’s.
• Chart audits to ensure proper documentation is completed and meets all billing protocols.
• Charts audits.
• Travel to Arizona offices daily.
• Travel to California, Nevada and Texas for medical assistant training when needed.

Qualifications:

Education: Certification preferred (i.e., Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Dermatology Technician, etc.)

Experience:

• Minimum three years ‘experience in Dermatology, Cosmetics, and/or Minor Procedures.
• Minimum of 1-2 years in a training role.
• Experience with EMA preferred.

• Great customer service experience.

• Professional in appearance and mannerisms.
• Able to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others, patients and co-workers alike.
• Able to prioritize tasks, understand the provider’s instructions, and know when to seek information or advice.
• Works with the Training Manager to put together Protocols, Training Materials, Classes, Meetings for our staff.
