In the performance of their respective tasks and duties, all employees are expected to conform to the following:

  • Building strong working relations with Providers, Managers, and staff.
  • Interact professionally with other employees, patients, and providers.
  • Work effectively with the Training Department to contribute to all assignments.
  • Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.

Purpose: This position will be responsible for assisting with onboarding and training new medical assistants, and training new physicians or midlevel’s. Will mentor and support the trainers in their region. Will work closely with Practice Managers. Will support with Integrations Team.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

  • Training and educating the trainers and helping to support the training of new hires in all areas of Dermatology.
  • Perform 30, 60, and 90-day back-office performance review and success of training results.
  • Orientation classes.
  • MIPS training for all back-office Regionals, Practice Managers, Providers, and Staff.
  • Monitor MIP scores and reach out to Practice managers when needed.
  • Efficient with training all parts of EMA.
  • Building Protocols and Sticky Fields in EMA for Clinicians that need support.
  • Phlebotomy classes.
  • Lab classes
  • Train documentation and Pathology logs to Clinicians and staff
  • Learn and understand the needs of CLIA.
  • Help train any new processes the Training Department puts in place.
  • Help build Protocols, PowerPoints, and training materials.
  • Virtual classes for new Clinicians that are onboarding.
  • Weekly meeting with the training staff.
  • Weekly meeting with other Training Managers.
  • Manage trainers for your Region and be responsible for staff schedules and communication with Practice Managers.
  • Paycom, approve timesheets, time off requests, and performance reviews.
  • Strong communication skills and knowledge of MIPS, EMA. Able to present to Clinicians, Practice Managers, and Medical Assistants virtual classes.

Qualifications


Qualifications

Education: Certification preferred (i.e., Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Dermatology Technician, etc.)

Experience: Minimum three years ‘experience in Dermatology, Cosmetics, and Minor Procedures. Minimum of 1-2 years in a training role.

Other Requirements: Professional, travel multiple states, self-starter.

Performance Requirements:

  • Quality written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional in appearance and mannerisms.
  • Able to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others, patients, and co-workers alike.
  • Able to prioritize tasks, understand the provider’s instructions, and know when to seek information or advice.
  • Manage time efficiently.
  • Mentor his or her team.

Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.

Work Environment: Able to sit for long periods. High phone volume.

Physical Requirements: Must possess the manual dexterity to operate office machines including computer and calculator; stooping, and bending to handle files and supplies; and mobility to complete errands or deliveries. Includes handling of sharps and chemicals. Stress can be triggered by multiple staff demands and deadlines.
