Position: Quick Lube Oil Change Service Technician

Job Type: [Full-time/Part-time]

Key Responsibilities:

Vehicle Servicing: Perform oil and filter changes efficiently and according to company standards. This includes draining and refilling oil, replacing oil filters, lubricating chassis, and other components as necessary.

Vehicle Inspection: Conduct basic vehicle inspections to check the condition of the vehicle, including checking fluid levels (coolant, brake fluid, windshield washer, etc.), tire pressure, and other general maintenance checks.

Customer Interaction: Assist and educate customers on regular vehicle maintenance, explain services, and answer any questions they may have. Always maintain a professional and courteous demeanor.

Car Wash Assistance: Assist in the car wash process, operating machinery, guiding customers, and ensuring vehicles are cleaned to company standards.

Detailing Assistance and Training: Support the detailing team by preparing vehicles, assisting with interior and exterior cleaning, and learning the intricacies of detailed vehicle cleaning and refurbishment.

Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all tools, machinery, and equipment related to both oil change and car wash/detailing services are clean, safe, and in working order. Report any malfunctions immediately.

Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workspace across all service areas. Clean up spills, ensure safe disposal of used oil and filters, and uphold the cleanliness standards of the car wash and detailing sections.

Record Keeping: Document all services performed, and materials used, ensuring accurate record keeping for each customer's visit across all service areas.

Stay Updated: Continuously learn about new automotive technologies, car wash techniques, detailing products, and stay updated with the latest industry trends.

Teamwork: Collaborate with team members across all sections, provide assistance when needed, and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in vehicle maintenance, car washing, or automotive detailing is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components.
• Ability to operate tools, machinery, and equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Capable of prolonged periods of standing, bending, and reaching.
• Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, both indoor and outdoor.
