Requirements:
- Although working in a kennel is fun there's a lot of hard work that goes along with it.
- Must have kennel experience.
- Must be task-oriented.
- Time efficiency is essential.
- Be able to handle all kinds of dogs.
- Physically fit: there's a lot of scrubbing, walking, lifting, etc.
- Take direction.
- Maintaining dog runs (inside/outside), maintaining cat cages, walking/playing with the dogs, feeding and more. The position has growth potential.
- This is a fast-paced environment and is physically demanding, but very gratifying.
- We are looking for long-term employees and you should live close to the kennel (no more than 35 minutes away is ideal).
- Must have own transportation, be dependable, lift 50 lbs, and be able to multitask.
- Playing with the animals is a part of the job, but not the main portion.
