Job Description

Plateau Medical Supply is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team. We are a durable medical equipment and respiratory service provider.

A Respiratory Therapist will perform equipment set ups for our clients in our healthcare home/facilities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for setting up Ventilator machines, Oxygen, CPAP, and any other machines as needed.
• Provide technical assistance with equipment.
• Provides patient and medical staff education as an intricate part of the patient care activity according to the patients needs and policy.
• Represents the company through professional personal appearance, patient care activities, and content of written reports.
• Maintains patient records in complete and organized manner in compliance with accreditation standards.

Qualifications:

• Familiar with equipment and services provided in the home healthcare setting, or other experience in patient care.
• Must have completed all training/education to obtain requisite certification, registration, and/or license.
• Must be a clinician authorized within his/her scope of practice (as established by applicable state law or if none, by the applicable national board) to provide all patient care services offered by Plateau Medical Supplies from time to time.
• CRTs and RRTs are required for this position.
• Must remain certified, registered, or licensed by the state and/or national board governing his/her clinical practice or as otherwise permitted by law.
