Responsible for all phases of storage and shipment of finished goods in a safe and efficient manner. Will act as a liaison between shipping locations communicating and resolving product service and shipment issues. Responsible for scheduling associates hours to accommodate shipping of finished materials based on customer orders. Responsible for supporting the Warehouse Team Leader on Material Handler Training of associates, inventory projects, manage SAP (PICS) systems, assist with cycle counts, and coordinate bottle shortages with Warehouse Team Leader, Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse manager. Responsible for enforcing company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for covering shift responsibilities in the absence of shift Warehouse Leaders and Backup Leaders. Also helps cover shifts in outside warehouses when assigned by warehouse lead.
• Assist warehouse leader in Overseeing the Finished Goods and Raw Material Handlers on their shift and ensure efficient movement and storage of raw materials and finished product.
• Assist Warehouse Leader to maintain communication between shifts and associates.
• Assists Warehouse Leader to assign staffing to meet daily requirements based on work load (adjusting levels by shift).
• Assist in providing warehouse leader with associate performance evaluation and disciplinary purposes.
• Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner. Assist in the proper training and testing of new hires and existing associates.
• Verifies adherence to all procedures within Safety, Corporate / Site Quality System, Operational Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices and ISO standards.
• Maintains and adheres to work instructions for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current. Responsible for the accuracy of transactions, product scanning, finished goods inventory and inventory reliability.
• Maintains FIFO system of inventory as required by customer and ISO standards.
• Document all shipments both inbound and outbound.
• Provides instruction to shuttle drivers regarding transfers to outside warehouses.
• Communicates repair of equipment and property.
• Responsible for reporting food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action. Initiate action(s) for food safety issues and report the issue(s) and action(s) taken to a member of the Food Safety Team.
• Must complete and maintain certification in First Aid/CPR/AED.
• Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion
