Sales Manager (Packaging Equipment) - PS101123 - Mt Pleasant, WI
Pay: $60,000 - 120,000 benefits & commission
Location: Open to Local or Remote candidates
Schedule: Flexible

We are assisting this company near the Mount Pleasant, WI region that is searching for an experienced technical sales representative to secure sales of packaging equipment and offer clients Creative manufacturing solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating customer needs, providing technical support, and developing creative solutions for manufacturing challenges. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in this growing company's sales process, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-lasting relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Review Requests for Quotes (RFQs) from sales personnel or customers; analyze and evaluate customer needs from specification sheets, drawings, and application requirements
  • Execute sales calls, presentations, and customer qualification; offer technical information and support to sales personnel and management.
  • Develop and propose innovative technical solutions for customer packaging issues, including conceptual layouts, diagrams, and functional descriptions.
  • Specify the appropriate machines, components, and technology for customer applications; collaborate with departmental leaders to create accurate project estimates; prepare cost estimates for project impact on customer's line.
  • Prepare proposals and quotations, oversee order confirmation, and execute risk reviews; ensure compliance with ISO procedures for sales activity.
  • Continuously enhance expertise in technical aspects of product lines and share this knowledge with other departments.

Qualifications

  • MUST have at least 3 years of experience selling filler / packaging equipment and/or manufacturing solutions; preferably in the PET blow molding market.
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or Engineering is a PLUS but not required.
  • More than 3 years' experience in developing quotations or pricing for complex capital equipment or similar experience.
  • Self-driven, goal-oriented mindset, capable of working independently with effective communication and organizational skills.
