Thermoforming Operator - Day Shift

We are looking for a Thermoforming operator to oversee operations during scheduled shift. Operator responsibilities include setting up/running thermoforming line, ensuring quality products, checking equipment, effective communication, and conflict resolution. Ultimately, you will ensure all aspects of your shift run smoothly and effectively. If you're committed to quality service and are mechanically inclined, we would like to meet with you.

Responsibilities

• Perform changeovers for custom Thermoforming
• Perform startups and changeovers
• Ensure all goods produced during day shift are within customer specifications
• Train and coach new employees
• Inspect equipment and communicate the need for repairs or replacements to management and/ or engineers
• Ensure health and safety standards are followed
• Address employee complaints
• Foster and maintain a positive work environment

Skills

• Proven experience as a Shift Leader or relevant managerial role
• Minimum 3 years of experience in plastic Thermoforming manufacturing.
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
• Desire to keep employees safe (first aid background preferred but not required)
• Commitment to quality service
• Working well within a team
• Leadership skills and ability to make decisions fast
• Strong problem-solving aptitude
• Ability to stand for long periods
• High school diploma is preferred
