Job Summary: The primary responsibilities for the Shipping/Receiving Clerk are to schedule and ship product to customers on time. as well as receive, unload, inspect incoming trucks. This role also collaborates with Manufacturing, Production and Project Managers to ensure shipments are on track to ship out on time. Other duties include getting rate quotes, picking, packing, and transacting material that will be delivered on PLI delivery truck.
Shift: Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, time will fluctuate depending on the business needs, and will need to be available to work overtime

Analyze ship sheet/WIP and identify any discrepancies.
Schedule FTL and LTL loads accordingly.
Ensure product to be shipped is inspected for current content according to WIP and Monarch.
Transact material in Monarch.
Work with material handler(s) to pack, wrap, and stage materials.
Hep load trucks and ensure BOL and shipping documents are signed.
Ensure jobs are marked shipped and that all freight charges are entered in Monarch.
Perform these and other duties as assigned by supervisor or other appropriate management personnel.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
1-2 years of customer service experience
1-2 years of warehouse experience
Basic math and reading skills
Ability to multitask
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Detail-oriented
Previous experience with MS Office applications and MRP/ERP applications

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak, hear, and comprehend. The employee is required to stand for extended periods, walk and use hands for grasping and fine manipulation. The employee will be required to reach with hands and arms and must be able to lift and carry up to twenty-five pounds frequently and up to fifty pounds occasionally. Employee must be able to regularly push and pull loads using a pallet jack. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to adjust focus and distinguish colors from one another.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily in an indoor setting with variable temperature conditions. The employee will be working around moving equipment and machinery and will occasionally be required to use hazardous chemicals with appropriate, required personal protective equipment. The employee may be exposed to minimal chemical smells and paper dust. The employee must be prepared to respond to emergencies should they occur. The noise level in the environment is usually moderate.
