A premier Plastic Surgery Practice looking for a full-time Patient Surgery Scheduler/Nurse Assistant. This position offers a unique combination of office duties, so the ability to multi-task is a must; plus your day is never boring. The role supports both administrative and clinical staff within the practice. Responsibilities include (but not limited to): answering phones, scheduling appointments, greeting and checking in patients, ensuring patient intake forms are provided and completed, maintaining front desk and waiting area, managing the staff's clinical schedule, booking surgeries at hospitals and surgery centers, working with insurance companies to obtain prior authorization for surgeries, confirming appointments and scanning documents, assisting the nurses with different tasks such as dressing changes, suture removals, sterilizing instruments and preparing clinical rooms.

Requirements include: Experience in a plastic surgery medical office or spa setting preferred, superior verbal and written skills, great organizational skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and a high level of insurance and scheduling comprehension. Hourly rate will be determined with experience.

Must be available Monday - Friday. Standard hours are 9-5 pm, but expect late days due to daily business needs. Benefits include vacation pay, health insurance, 401k, and excellent employee perks!
