Plastic Hand Surgical Associates is a leading reconstructive, hand and cosmetic surgery physician practice. Our day surgery center is fully accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). We provide patients with individualized care in a comfortable, private setting.
We have a full-time opening for an experienced Prior Authorizations Specialist to join our Billing team Responsibilities include:
- Validating eligibility and benefits
- Obtaining/documenting prior authorizations for procedures and other services
- Providing cost estimates to patients and obtaining payments
- Working with the billing department as well as other departments as appropriate to communicate authorization updates, denials and/or delays
- Other duties within the billing department as needed
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of procedure coding and can efficiently track and obtain authorizations with multiple payors and product lines.
