Plaster & Wald Consulting Corp. is Hiring a LDAR Tech Near Midland, TX

LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair) Tech
We are seeking an LDAR Tech with a proven track record of accomplishments to support our customers Permian Basin program.
The LDAR Tech’s primary duties will include executing all LDAR inspections, performing timely repairs & maintenance, operationalization of GHG reduction pilots & initiatives, maintaining records of repairs and maintenance of our asset data.
Responsibilities:
  • utilize FLIR Camera to conduct leak detection surveys.
  • properly calibrate and maintain all monitoring equipment.
  • perform daily operational checks of survey equipment.
  • properly execute and audit the inspection and repair process in accordance with Local, State, Federal and Customer emissions requirements.
  • properly document all pertinent survey results and generate repair tickets.
  • perform troubleshooting and emergency data recovery when needed.
  • perform repairs on leaking equipment and use survey equipment to validate repair success.
  • coordinate with operations teams when additional repair actions are required.
  • abide by all environmental, health and safety programs and policies.
  • communicate any unsafe or environmentally dangerous issues immediately to operations personnel and site supervisor.
  • support Production Operations as needed.
  • assist with internal and external agency audits (Environmental and Safety)
Qualifications.
  • at least 5 years’ experience in oil and gas field operations preferred.
  • strong history of conducting safe and environmentally conscious operations with an awareness of regulatory, State, and Federal regulations.
  • EHS experience/background; must be able to demonstrate competencies with respect to EHS in multiple field operations.
  • effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • must have a working knowledge of Excel, Word, invoicing & accounting systems.
  • safety sensitive position subject to random drug and alcohol screening.
  • valid drivers’ license.
  • local candidates preferred
Work Schedule and Details
  • Mon-Fri.
  • 10-hour days
  • Working in a company vehicle with all fuel, general maintenance and insurance covered by P&W
  • No Paid Vacation.
  • Holiday Pay when applicable
