Job Title: Pool Attendant

Pay: $13.00/hr

Location: Crystal River, FL

Reports to: Director of Rooms

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Summary

Maintain an acceptable level of quality control in supplying towels for all assigned pool areas while providing excellent customer service to our guest and members.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor the pool deck to ensure only guest and social members are using the pool area and remove anyone that is not a guest or member.
• Ensure all guests using the pool have no outside food and beverage in the pool area.
• Monitor and ensure that no guests utilizing the pool have and food or beverage inside the pool at any time.
• Establish priorities to create a good workflow resulting in a more efficient pool operation.
• Inform leadership of supply shortages.
• Must keep area free of debris and maintain workspace.
• Follow all changes in schedule as directed by management.
• Attend all required meetings.
• Carry out a reasonable request by management of which the associate is capable of performing.
• Follow, execute and assist with all daily responsibilities including power washing pool deck/service areas, leaf blowing pool deck, , picking up/returning used towels, picking up trash/removing trash from service areas, cleaning all furniture on pool deck, bringing trash to the dumpster, restocking restrooms, mopping and cleaning all service areas.
• Organize and maintain a clean, safe work environment at all times
• Provide flawless and friendly customer service interactions with all external and internal guests.
• Ensure customer satisfaction is met with the highest standard and regard for the overall guest experience.
• Engaging in activities with guests and ensuring the activity areas are clean at all times.
• Ensure customer satisfaction is met with the highest standard and regard for the overall guest experience.
• Able to work well with the resort guests, co-workers and management, while displaying a consistent guest/customer service-oriented attitude.
• Complete any additional duties/tasks assigned.

Qualifications

• Position requires flexibility in scheduling including AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays. Overtime may be required based on business needs.
• Must have attention to detail, strong ability to multi-task, and time-management skills
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be trained or willing to be trained in First Aid/CPR/AED
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• One year of related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to complete repetitive motions throughout shift such as reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, etc.
• Must be able to lift, push, carry, and pull up to 50lbs.
• Exposure to various types of Florida weather conditions including: sunshine, heat, and rain.
• Be able to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time.
• Be able to working in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Be able to reach, bend and stoop and lift up to 50lbs.
