Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts, and optimizing supply chain processes. This is a crucial role in maintaining efficient operations and meeting customer demands. Duties: - Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demands - Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies - Utilize systems and data mining techniques to analyze inventory data - Collaborate with suppliers to manage inventory replenishment and resolve any issues - Assist in the development of demand planning strategies - Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions - Ensure compliance with inventory management policies and procedures - Perform heavy lifting as required for inventory handling and organization Skills: - Strong proficiency in inventory management systems and tools - Experience in data mining and analysis to identify trends and patterns - Knowledge of supplier management principles and practices - Ability to sell ideas and influence stakeholders to drive positive change - Capable of heavy lifting for physical inventory tasks - Proficient in data visualization techniques to present inventory insights effectively - Familiarity with AS400 or similar inventory management software is a plus - Understanding of demand planning methodologies - Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement - Knowledge of supply chain principles and practices Join our team as an Inventory Specialist and contribute to our success by ensuring efficient inventory management processes.
