PlanSource is looking for a highly motivated, organized, forward-thinking team member to join the Financial Planning and Analysis team as a Senior Financial Analyst.

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for revenue forecasting, analyzing financial results, elevating data capabilities, management reporting and developing predictive models. This highly visible position will report directly to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis with exposure to executive level management. This role will be an individual contributor and will not have direct management responsibilities.

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be tasked with the following:

  • Owning the company integrated revenue planning model utilizing business input and leveraging data from across the organization.
  • Applying a solid working knowledge of data management techniques, including software solutions for storing, accessing, reporting, and analyzing data.
  • Identifying and implementing solutions for data gaps to enable creation of new financial models, and reports and insightful data analysis.
  • Improving and standardizing the processes for collecting, combining and validating the integrity of large data sets.
  • Identifying and recommending process improvements that reduce workloads and reporting redundancies.
  • Using complex data analytics to draw conclusions and succinctly present financial and operational insights to support timely executive level decision-making.
  • Making strategic recommendations for solutions to business problems and opportunities using data analytics and predictive modeling.
  • Consolidating and analyzing historical financial information to produce accurate and reliable forecasts.
  • Serving as a resource to team members and applicable stakeholders on ad-hoc financial analysis assignments and projects.
  • Providing clear interpretation and the presentation of financial data and analysis to stakeholders.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Director FP&A, VP FP&A, CFO, or other members of the ELT.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, information systems or other related fields in a quantitative or analytical discipline.
  • Understanding of finance, GAAP accounting principles, including revenue recognition and accruals.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in data or business reporting.
  • Proficient at querying large data sets, financial forecasting, and presenting findings.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel with an aptitude in systems and reporting for analysis.
  • Experience with data visualization software (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Experience with accounting and planning software (Adaptive Planning or similar)

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, to prioritize and meet deadlines

  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal verbal and written skills
  • Strong Customer focus ensuring resolution of customer issues while striving to create the best experience for all stakeholders
  • Very discreet and capable of handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Delivers high-quality, accurate results on time without frequent supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Follows through on commitments, establishes trust with business partners
  • Strong teamwork skills and able to coordinate across multiple business functions

Preferred Experience:

  • MBA
  • Prior ownership of corporate financial models
  • PE-owned high-growth experience; SaaS software industry or subscription management
  • Large, complex company experience
  • Project Management skills
  • NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, Zone Advanced Billing, Salesforce
  • Experience with statistical, analytics and database software (SQL, SAS)
