We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Facility Supervisor to oversee the comprehensive management of our machine shop's building, security, equipment, infrastructure, and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong self-motivation, a commitment to safety, and a proactive approach to supporting projects and operational excellence. As the Facility Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the facility's optimal performance, safety, and seamless integration within the organization's operations.

FACILITIES SUPERVISOR
IN FRANKLIN, MASSACHUSETTS USA
RESPONSIBILITIES
Facility Management and Maintenance:
  • Supervise all aspects of facility maintenance, including routine upkeep, repairs, and improvements to ensure a safe and functional environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance needs, addressing them promptly and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and efficient execution of maintenance tasks.
Security Oversight and Safety:
  • Manage facility security systems, access controls, and surveillance to ensure a secure environment for employees and assets.
  • Promote and enforce safety protocols, conducting regular safety assessments and providing training to employees on safe practices.
Equipment and Infrastructure Management:
  • Lead a team of technicians to maintain, calibrate, and optimize all machinery and equipment within the machine shop.
  • Monitor the condition of building infrastructure, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, and take proactive measures to address issues.
  • Capital Expenditure (Capex) Projects and Operational Excellence:
  • Play a vital role in Capex planning, identifying facility and equipment upgrade needs, and developing project proposals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence initiatives, process improvements, and cost-saving measures.
Project Support and Organizational Integration:
  • Independently manage and support projects related to facility upgrades, expansions, or process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure facility operations are seamlessly integrated into overall organizational strategies.
Self-Driven Leadership and Documentation:
  • Exhibit a proactive and self-driven approach, consistently seeking ways to enhance facility operations and contribute to the organization's success.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, safety assessments, and project outcomes.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in facilities management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in facility maintenance, equipment management, security oversight, and project coordination within a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure systems
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and creating a secure working environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office suite.
