Job Description:
We are currently seeking an Operations Manager / Production Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and production activities of our insurance agency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the insurance industry, particularly in Life and Health Insurance, Group Benefits, Worksite Benefits, Annuities, and TPA services. The Operations Manager / Production Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing processes, enhancing productivity, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and fostering a culture of teamwork and innovation within the organization.
Responsibilities:

• Oversee all operational activities of the insurance agency, including policy processing, underwriting, claims processing, customer service, and TPA services.
• Develop and implement efficient processes and procedures to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
• Monitor key performance metrics and identify areas for improvement to drive operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including HIPAA, ERISA, and state insurance laws.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and finance, to achieve organizational goals.
• Manage and mentor a team of insurance professionals, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth and development.
• Drive initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty, ensuring a positive experience for clients at every touchpoint.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on Life and Health Insurance, Group Benefits, Worksite Benefits, Annuities, and TPA services.
• Proven track record of success in operations management, with experience optimizing processes and driving efficiency.
• Strong knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve their full potential.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional certifications such as LOMA, FLMI, or CPCU are a plus.
