Description
o Reporting structure:
§ Reports to the Mechanical Assembly Supervisor
o Overall position description:
§ Assemble components / sub-assemblies using proper power and hand tools according to drawings BOM’s and Work Instructions.
§ Deliver defect free product on time.
o Essential functions of the job:
§ Communicate with Supervisor prior to starting assembly to ensure understanding of build process
§ Complete Travelers and Trouble Sheets
§ Assemble parts using proper tools, conforming to documentation provided with direct supervision
§ Install hardware and labels according to documentation
§ Mask PCB’s prior to conformal coating
§ Conform to all Company Policies and Procedures
Requirements
o Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
§ Understand and execute instructions from Supervisor
§ Use power and hand tools
o Required education and experience:
· Prefer a high school diploma or 6 months experience in the electronics industry
o A description of the physical demands:
§ Ability to sit 2 hours at a time
§ Ability to stand for 1 hour at a time
§ Ability to lift and carry 10 pounds
o A description of Safety Requirements:
§ Safety Glasses required when de-panelizing boards, cleaning with alcohol or acetone, and conformal coating
