SALARY: $52.75/HR
JOB SUMMARY: Planned Parenthood Southeast is seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a Floating Nurse Practitioner. This position offers the opportunity to provide essential reproductive health services across multiple clinics located in Cobb, Gwinnett, and East Atlanta Village. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family planning and long-acting reversible contraception (LARC), previous experience with performing ultrasound examinations when necessary to support patient care and diagnostic evaluations is a plus. Under the medical supervision of the Medical Director and the Lead Clinician and the administrative supervision of the Health Center Manager, the Floating Nurse Practitioner will function in an expanded role as the primary provider of medical services. Carries full responsibility for initiation and maintenance of patients seeking primary healthcare and family planning services. Functions within the medical protocols established within the Medical Standards and Guidelines and standing orders.

Work is performed in a clinical environment that includes office, lab, exam and procedure rooms. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate; may be fast-paced workflow. Employees may encounter protest activity. Exposure to blood borne pathogens and potentially infectious materials. Work schedules may vary to include Monday through Saturday and some evening hours. May be required to attend meetings outside of the regular work schedule.
