Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mtns is Hiring a Clinical Quality Audit Analyst Near Denver, CO

Anticipated Closing Date: 4/29/2024

This is a temporary 6-month position

  • Part-Time, Not Benefit Eligible
  • 7.5 hours per week

Snapshot:You will spend most of your days working in the Electronic Health Record, identifying and analyzing patient record data and maintaining records of this work. You will collaborate with other members of the CQRM team and other patient care providers frequently.

Qualifications:

  • Must have current NP/APN/CNM/PA licensure
  • At least 5 years as an experienced as an APC or equivalent at PPRM
  • Knowledge of or previous experience practicing within Planned Parenthood Medical Standards and Guidelines
  • Computer literacy with demonstrated competence in the basic function of Microsoft Excel.
  • Previous experience navigating Salesforce Data Management platform is preferred.

Primary Areas of Responsibility/Essential Functions:

  • Chart Audits: You will use clinical judgement to review patient care data and identify sensitive information and identify potential areas of clinical risk. You will collaborate with the Impacts and Analytics Team to identify charts for auditing and analysis and conduct targeted clinical chart reviews or other primary source reviews to identify and extrapolate requisite data points. You will enter data into databases and system platforms and track audit process and key findings. You will report out on progress and key findings as well as generating reports from the databases and systems as requested.
  • Clinical Quality and Risk: You will identify and define potential clinical quality compliance issues through the collection and analysis of large amounts of data. You will conduct root-cause-analysis of existing and potential issues and make recommendations to reduce and mitigate risk.
  • Abortion Care: We all work in abortion care, whether it is referrals, information, education, counseling, performing, scheduling, etc. In this role, you will be working with abortion care medical records and providers.
