Position is remote but open to residents of the State of Ohio only. Must reside in Ohio as of start date.

As a socially responsible health care employer and provider, we require our associates to show proof of annual influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations unless approved exemption is provided. An approved exemption from COVID-19 vaccination will require weekly testing for the Associate. Additional information will be provided by HR upon hire.

Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio/Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio is seeking a mission-minded Associate to join us as a full time (37.5 per week) Recruiter.

SUMMARY

The Recruiter is a champion of the “In This Together” ethos with a focus on “Caring for the Business” and “Respecting and Honoring all People.” This role is responsible for carrying out full life cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and recommending placement of potential associates. Works in partnership with Talent Acquisition Supervisor to execute on recruiting strategy that aims to meet the diversity, equity, and inclusion goals of the affiliate. The Recruiter is resourceful and executes on delivering high quality talent for the affiliate.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Assess assigned requisitions to develop job ads and posting activities that will attract quality candidates.
  • Post job openings through Applicant Tracking System and all third-party posting sites/networking sites and contacts that align with the staffing goals of the affiliate.
  • Partner with and maintain communication with hiring managers, guiding them throughout the recruiting process.
  • Execute effective recruiting plans and strategies with assigned requisitions and make recommendations on process improvement.
  • Develop valid screening and interview tools that will yield the highest quality candidates.
  • Screen applications and resumes, interview candidates (by phone, virtually, or in person), coordinate scheduling of in person interviews for hiring managers as needed, administer background and credit checks, make recommendations for hire, and process offer letters for exempt and non-exempt position openings.
  • Utilize a creative approach to sourcing candidates through traditional and non-traditional resources to attract high quality candidates.
  • Work collaboratively to develop advertising/communication (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
  • Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback on the recruiting process and make recommendations based on the feedback.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
  • Extend employment offers within affiliate procedures.
  • Communicate important employment information to prospective candidates and during delivery of employment offers including benefits, compensation, noncompete agreements, and other relevant information.
  • Work collaboratively with Experience and Equity to achieve hiring and retention goals.
  • Manage application/resume files in accordance with record keeping requirements.
  • Partner with HR Coordinator in processing internal associate transfers and participates in on-boarding activities as required.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, communications, or another related field
  • 1-2 years of human resources or recruiting experience required
  • Experience with HRIS and/or ATS required
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate work on multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve recruiting goals of organization
  • Commands a working knowledge of HR technology applications/platforms to support recruitment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Social Media sourcing and branding
  • Commitment to the ethos, values, and service standards of Planned Parenthood and ability to communicate these to associates, volunteers, prospective job applicants, and others in the community
  • Valid driver’s license or access to reliable transportation required
