Remote

Starting salary for candidate who meets minimum requirements (Experience will be compensated): $20.60 /hour.

Typical Schedule: 40 hours/week - all positions are benefits eligible.

What to expect:

Under immediate supervision of the Director of Donor Engagement & Annual Giving, the Donor Engagement Specialist performs a wide variety of functions. The Donor Engagement Specialist coordinates aspects of the annual giving and donor engagement program within the PPNCS Foundation. The Specialist works closely with the Director of Donor Engagement and Annual Giving to manage and track annual fund appeals and donor communications. This position schedules, monitors, and implements direct mail and digital strategies to renew and upgrade current donors, reactivate lapsed donors, and acquire new donors. Donor Engagement Specialists are advocates in our mission of "Advancing and protecting sexual and reproductive healthcare for all." They may perform other related duties as assigned.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.

Responsibilities:

This position will impact us with the following contributions:

  • Assist in the management and coordination of communications for a comprehensive donor engagement plan, including donor solicitation, acquisition, and stewardship. This includes but may not be limited to creation of all concept documents, management and coordination of direct mail and email appeals (both in-house and utilizing external vendors), donor newsletters, and other projects.
  • Interface with print and mail vendors on the production and delivery of printed mailings and materials.
  • Manage and implement all gift acknowledgements, gift receipts, and special thank you letters from organizational leaders in coordination with the Stewardship Manager.
  • Assemble and coordinate updates and reports on key data points and project progress at regular intervals to be shared with management and the broader team.
  • Assist with audit queries in Raiser's Edge and perform clean up and enhancement to preserve the integrity and accuracy of all constituent records, including capturing and updating new information promptly and accurately.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all donors, responding to telephone, email, and mail inquiries with accurate and appropriate information about Planned Parenthood and its programs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Experience working in a fundraising department, with a general understanding of annual funds and development/fundraising programs
