Job DescriptionOverall Responsibility: This job role is vital to the success of Planet Smoothie. The counter server ensures we have top notch customer service and that are products are served with 100% satisfaction. It is the counter server’s responsibility to provide customers with prompt service, quality beverages and products. At Planet Smoothie, we want our customers to experience a friendly, upbeat, clean and comfortable atmosphere.

- Acts with integrity, honesty & knowledge that promotes the culture, values & mission of Planet Smoothie
- Customer driven: welcomes and engages with every customer who visits Planet Smoothie
- Delivers legendary customer service by determining the customer’s needs & suggesting products to enhance service & meet or exceed sales goals.
- Prepares all smoothies to exact recipes and standards
- Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
- Follows Planet Smoothie’s standards for stocking and storing of products
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and product as needed
- Presents oneself as friendly and enthusiast about “Changing the way the Planet eats.”
- Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of Planet Smoothie’s products
- Develops rapport with loyal customers by learning their names and favorite smoothies
- Follows store policies and procedures outlined by the general manager
- Follows the policies and procedures for handling cash and using the cash register
- Contributes to the store goals for increasing sales and improving profits
- Creates ways for customers to interact with our product; sampling, up sale, etc.
- Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep the store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team
- Assists with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful coaching as needed.
- Contributes to positive ream environment by recognizing changes in partner morale & performance & communicating them to the store manager
- Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
