National health club franchise is now hiring a full-time Facility Technician to perform facility and equipment maintenance for its 35 Houston-area locations.
Responsibilities include :
Fitness Equipment repair
Fitness Equipment preventive maintenance
General facility maintenance; including, but not limited to minor electrical, plumbing, painting, and sheet rock.
Candidate must have :
- Excellent communication skills
- Physical ability to move gym equipment
- Self-starter capabilities
- Team player attitude
- Mechanical aptitude
- Computer Literacy a must
- Ability to work with tools
- Valid US Work Authorization
- Valid Driver's License
Salaried position with benefits. Compensation dependent upon experience and applicable certifications.
Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $20-$25 per hour

Schedule :
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Education :
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience :
Mechanical repair on Fitness Equipment : 1 year (Preferred)
General Contractor Work : 1 year (Preferred)
Computer literacy in spreadsheets, email, and maintenance programs
License / Certification :
- Texas Driver’s License (Required)
- Life Fitness Certifications (Preferred)
- Hydromassage Certification (Preferred)
