Planet dental orthodontics is Hiring a Treatment Coordinator Near Laredo, TX

Position Summary:

The Dental Treatment Coordinator is a sales management position. A Treatment Coordinator closes or assists in closing the treatment plans generated by the doctor. The Dental Treatment Coordinator will provide superior customer service to patients, explain insurance benefit breakdowns, communicate treatment plans, and manage assigned Treatment Coordinators.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manages the process for communication, distribution, and conversion of treatment plans from diagnosis to acceptance
  • Act as the central point of contact within the organization
  • Ability to effectively communicate treatment plans to patients and appropriately prioritize the services needed
  • Provide excellent phone skills: clear, articulate communication to accurately describe our services to patients and collect information
  • Deliver prepared scripts in both Spanish and English to deliver pre-operatory patient information
  • Respectfully address patient concerns and questions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; the flexibility to handle multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism
  • Obtain patient insurance information prior to appointment in order to expedite financial decision making
  • Explain insurance benefits and payment plan options to patients
  • Complete accurate records of telephonic interactions, orders, and accounts
  • Other administrative/ support duties as needed

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience Requirements:

  • Dental knowledge (Required)
  • Knowledge of dental insurance
  • At least two years of experience as a treatment plan coordinator, office manager, or administrative role at the dental office. (Required)
  • Fluency in English & Spanish (Required)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Pay Rate: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

  • Spanish (Required)
  • English (Required)
